Trapdoor Media

The name Trapdoor Media , penned by Kelly Williams, stems from the 1924 Gibson Trapdoor Tenor Banjo, which has a little door on the resonator's backside that flips open to let out the sound.

TRAPDOOR MEDIA is a Graphic Recording, Graphic Arts, Facilitation, Consulting, & Publishing company, specializing in onsite workshops and high quality graphic productions. Trapdoor Media also has a line of Fine Art Note Cards based upon the work of Issa, one of the greatest Japanese haiku masters. The haikus are translated by one of America’s most admired contemporary poets and translators: Lucien Stryk. These cards are 50% cloth paper, the images taken from vintage scrolls imported from Japan.
